That is not a slogan we picked because it sounded good. It is the test we apply to what we stock: does this genuinely reduce what someone burns or wastes, and does it make their day better? A solar light that fails in eight months does neither.
Why we exist
ESG Outlet Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in September 2023 to be a one-stop outlet for sustainable solutions — with both a physical shop and an online presence, which in this industry is still unusual in East Malaysia.
We started with solar lighting and portable off-grid power because that is where the need is most obvious in Sabah. Plenty of places here have no practical route to a grid connection, and plenty more pay for diesel simply to keep the lights on. Both problems have a better answer now than they did ten years ago.
We added electrical protection — surge protection, DC-rated PV fuses and proper connectors — because we kept seeing good solar equipment installed behind bad or missing protection. In a state that gets as much lightning as this one, that is an expensive gap. Now a single supplier covers both halves of the job.
Longer term we intend to grow across three categories: energy management, water management and waste management. Energy came first because it is what our customers ask for first.
What we are trying to be
Malaysia’s first genuinely sustainable outlet — a shop you can walk into, not just a marketplace listing. Trust is built face to face here.
How we choose stock
Real specifications over inflated numbers. LiFePO4 over unnamed cells. Published certifications over none. If we would not fit it ourselves, we do not sell it.
