About this product
Sabah gets a great deal of lightning, and most equipment damage does not come from a direct strike — it comes from the surge that travels down the supply afterwards. A Type 2 SPD clamps that surge before it reaches anything expensive.
This is the two-module version for single-phase distribution boards, protecting live and neutral. It fits on DIN rail alongside your MCBs, and has a window that turns from green to red once the module has absorbed all it can and needs replacing. The modules are individually replaceable, so a surge event does not mean buying the whole unit again.
On any installation with a solar inverter, an SPD is not optional. It costs a fraction of what it protects.
